Within the Care in the Home division, we support children with complex health needs to live at home with their families.
We'd like you to join us as a Children's Support Worker at our young clients home in Lower Beeding.
Due to the rural location of our clients home, you must be a driver with a car.
Meet the Client:
Our client is a 3 year old little boy, who lives at home with him mum, dad and siblings. Our client is a wheelchair user and needs support with moving and handling, has scoliosis, is tube fed via gastrostomy, is non-verbal, has poor eyesight and has learning difficulties. You will need to interpret his needs via body language and emotion.
Our client is a happy little boy who loves cuddles and needs reassurance. He enjoys engagement with switch toys and loves spending time with his family and siblings.
When you'll be working:
* Monday-Friday (5pm-10pm)
* Part Time - 25 hours a week
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support a 3 year old little boy with complex health needs in his family home, on weekday evenings. This will involve supporting with personal care, moving and handling and clinical care. You will also be required to do physio with him. Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
We are looking for candidates who have an interest in child development, and the ability to take initiative and be proactive and work independently.
