Air & Ocean Freight Operator
Location: Bradford
Salary: £32,000 (DOE)
The Opportunity
A well-established and growing freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an experienced Air & Ocean Freight Operator to join their team in Bradford.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid operational experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day air and ocean freight shipments (import & export)
* Liaise with customers, overseas agents, and shipping lines
* Prepare and process shipping documentation
* Provide quotations and follow up with clients
* Raise and process invoices accurately
* Ensure high levels of customer service and communication throughout the shipment lifecycle
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2 years' experience in air and/or ocean freight forwarding
* Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
* Good level of education
* Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
