Senior Electronics Test Engineer
Permanent | Southend‑on‑Sea
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join a growing electronics manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical capability, excellent organisation, and a passion for delivering high‑quality electronic products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out functional testing on board‑level audio products, ensuring all equipment is correctly tested, calibrated, and certified according to defined test procedures.
2. Fault‑find to component level across final assemblies and sub‑assemblies, identifying root causes and carrying out effective repairs.
3. Perform high‑accuracy PCB rework, including single‑sided and PTH multi‑layer boards with both through‑hole and surface‑mount components.
4. Work closely with the design team on the creation and maintenance of test procedures.
5. Provide technical support and training to electronics test and production teams when required.
