We are recruiting for an experienced Employment Solicitor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employment law and be adept at providing legal advice to both employers and employees. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex legal matters with confidence and professionalism.
Duties
* Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of employment law issues, including contracts, disputes, and compliance matters.
* Represent clients in negotiations and mediations, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
* Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation.
* Conduct thorough legal research to stay updated on changes in employment law and relevant case law.
* Assist clients in resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods or litigation when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop training materials and resources for clients on employment law topics.
Experience
* A qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales.
* Proven experience in employment law, ideally within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
* Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully resolving disputes.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
