Are you a committed English teacher looking to join a supportive and well-organised secondary school where your work makes a real difference?
A welcoming secondary school in Southampton is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join their dedicated team. You will play a key role in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire students to develop strong literacy skills and a lifelong appreciation of literature.
The Role
* Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)
* Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons in line with the curriculum
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Work closely with colleagues to support the academic and personal development of all pupils
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to bring texts to life in the classroom
* Confident in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
* Committed to supporting pupil progress and raising attainment
* A team player with a proactive and collaborative approach
