Overview
Digital Technology Project Manager - Manufacturing and Supply Chain role at Energy Job Search. Permanent opportunity for a project manager with experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain to join the Digital Technology (DT) team at Dowty (a GE Aerospace company) in Brockworth, Gloucestershire.
Reporting to the programme manager, you will be responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. The role focuses on governance, compliance, infrastructure and software tool implementation.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business and functional partners, and technology leadership to specify requirements.
* Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, timeline and available budget/resources.
* Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge.
* Coordinate day-to-day execution with the technical team across business organisations to meet the technical requirements roadmap.
* Cooperate with and manage external vendors.
* Ensure predefined project management processes and practices are followed.
* Apply LEAN project management practices.
* Support the execution team by resolving roadblocks and interdependencies.
* Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the project life cycle.
* Manage stakeholder communications and progress reporting.
* Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction using established metrics against service levels; ensure lessons learned are captured and used to improve future performance.
Required Qualifications And Experience
* Project management experience within manufacturing and/or supply chain is essential.
* Proven experience within IT project management.
* Methodical problem-solving approach and ability to engage with others effectively.
* Demonstrated customer focus.
* Flexibility and adaptability to change.
* PMP, ScrumMaster or related project management certifications are highly desirable, or demonstrable PM methodology experience.
