Location & Hours
Location: Optimum House, Clippers Quay, Salford, M50 3XP - Remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Some flexibility on hours is available; just let us know when you speak to us.

Your Responsibilities
As a Highways Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Design team, delivering high-quality highway schemes and innovative solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. You'll work on exciting schemes, including:
* The National Highways SDF Framework
* Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework
* Major projects like the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine and A417 missing link
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Preparing technical design drawings, specifications, and reports in line with DMRB and relevant standards.
* Taking ownership of highway studies and smaller schemes with minimal supervision.
* Collaborating closely with senior team members on major projects.
* Conducting site visits and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders.
* Using AutoCAD to provide innovative engineering solutions while ensuring quality standards are met.
What We're Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold a Civil Engineering degree or a similar combination of qualifications and experience.
* You have experience using AutoCAD and a working knowledge of DMRB standards.
* You are working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer accreditation with a relevant professional body.
* You have experience delivering a range of projects and can communicate technical information clearly.
* You hold a valid driving license and CSCS card.
