Sports Coach - Manchester:
Prospero has partnered with a couple of specialists SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provisions in Manchester that support pupils aged 11 - 16 who have a wide range of emotional and behavioural needs. Many of the pupils have experienced barriers to learning in mainstream settings and require a nurturing, structured, and relational approach to education.
We believe that sport and physical activity are powerful tools for improving confidence, resilience, teamwork, and wellbeing. We are looking for a passionate, positive, and patient Sports Coaches to join our clients and help pupils achieve their personal and physical potential.
Position Details:
Position: Sports Coach
Location: Manchester
Type of Work: Temporary
Full-Time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £108.00 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Long-Term, Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
Experience within a SEMH provision is highly desired
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
A strong background in sports and coaching is required
A resilient, proactive and positive nature
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
