Role Overview
We are seeking a Videographer with approximately 2 years of experience in professional video production and digital storytelling to help us elevate our brand across multiple channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, capable, and creative individual who can plan, shoot, edit, and produce a wide range of engaging video content – from thought-leadership pieces and customer stories to product explainers, training videos, and social media shorts.
You will play a key role in shaping how Vent Engineering is portrayed online, creating authentic, high-quality content for our website, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and internal channels.
This could be a full-time or a part-time position, dependent on the candidate's experience and availability
You will:
•Lead on video production for both external and internal audiences.
•Create engaging video content that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, training, and brand storytelling.
•Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to bring technical subjects to life visually.
•Contribute creative ideas to grow engagement and awareness across platforms.
•Help shape the voice and visual identity of Vent Engineering through film.
Key Responsibilities
•Plan, shoot, and edit a variety of video content – including product explainers, “how-to” guides, behind-the-scenes films, a regular blog-style series, and social media shorts.
•Produce high-quality visuals that highlight our expertise, people, and innovation.
•Capture interviews and thought-leadership content with internal experts and partners.
•Edit footage for multiple formats (landscape, portrait, square) for use on LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
•Ensure consistent branding, tone, and storytelling across all outputs.
•Organise video shoots, manage equipment, lighting, and audio setups.
•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content supports wider marketing and communication.
Objectives.
•Use Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, and other tools to edit and deliver professional work.
•Apply AI and automation tools to streamline editing workflows and post-production.
•Contribute to performance tracking and optimisation of video content.
Qualifications and Experience
•2+ years’ hands-on experience in video production, filming, and editing.
•Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing software
•Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and audio capture.
•Experience producing short-form social video for platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
•A creative storyteller with a good eye for pacing, framing, and narrative flow.
•Organised and proactive – able to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery.
•Portfolio or showreel of previous work required (social, corporate, or creative).
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with different teams.
•Qualification in Film, Media Production, or Digital Marketing.
•Knowledge of SEO, social analytics, and video performance metrics.
•Confidence in creating motion graphics and simple animations.
•Interest in storytelling within technical or engineering-based industries.
