Main Purpose of Role
Dimplex UK focuses on the customer; in this role you will be responsible for entering all customer sales orders into the SAP system, ensuring accurate account identification and correct pricing, while resolving issues to move orders through to dispatch. You will also be responsible for customer contact, advising on issues, updating progress and providing a high level of support to our Sales Teams and other departments when necessary.
Key Accountabilities
* Entering Sales Orders in SAP (Manual and via Electronic Data Interchange) to meet key customer demands and KPIs
* Ensuring orders are accurate to avoid future disputes
* Resolving and/or escalating issues relating to pricing and materials to relevant departments or senior staff
* Communicating with customers inbound and outbound via telephone and email, updating on progress, answering queries and promoting products and incentives where possible
* Issuing quotations and supporting the Field Based Sales Team
* Flagging process issues or improvements to the Line Manager to continually improve customer service
* Carrying out any other reasonable function as requested by the line manager and providing cover for others within the team
Essential Criteria
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Experience within a similar Data Entry/Customer Service role
* Eye for detail, critical thinking and problem solving
* Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, with the ability to use multiple mediums
* Proficient in MS Office
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and focus on key customer requirements
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships with internal and external customers
* Ability to maintain expectations when working from home
Desirable Criteria
* Experience of using SAP or similar ERP systems
* Experience dealing with Wholesale Electrical or Plumbing companies and/or large Multiple Retailers
* Experience supporting an external team
