The Role:
You’ll be supporting a workforce location strategy project, analysing data, cleansing records in Oracle, and help understand the real-world impact of location changes on people and the costs. This role needs someone who’s confident in Excel,fortable working with large datasets, and has a decent grasp of UK geography.What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Cleansing and classifying employee data (home/field/office) in Oracle
2. Spotting mismatches between contracted and nearest office locations
3. Supporting cost modelling for travel/mileage
4. Working with HR, Finance, and other teams to align on policy
5. Analysing home-to-office mileage and cost impacts
6. Presenting clear, actionable insights to support decisions
What You’ll Need:
7. Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables – the works)
8. Experience handling and interpreting large datasets
9. A methodical, detail-focused approach
10. Goodmunication and collaboration skills
11. No HR experience needed, just a willingness to learn
Nice to Have:
12. Experience with workforce/location data
13. Familiarity with organisational change or workforce planning
