Who we are looking for
We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Supervisor in Telford to oversee the performance and upkeep of the security function on one of our client premises. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure all colleagues are adhering to their duties and maintaining a high level of professionalism and security presence.
You will work - 42hrs per week, 4 days on / 4 off / 4 nights - 05:30 to 17:30 with 12-hour shifts.

What you will need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
* A full UK manual Driving License - desirable.
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).
* Able to achieve a DBS and Full vetting to BS7858 Standards.
What are you going to do
* Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team fulfils tasks and adheres to Assignment Instructions and Corps Security policies.
* Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to security breaches/incidents with escalation where required.
* Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching and development, and monitor attendance/timekeeping.
* Submit necessary reports and performance documentation to the appropriate departments.
* Monitor staff and contractor activities on site, including control of contractors, method statements and risk assessments.
* Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services and relevant stakeholders during emergencies.
* Inspect security equipment (CCTV, Access Control, Alarms) and ensure proper function and upkeep.
* Investigate security incidents and prepare comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations.
* Ensure effective communication across departments and integrate security measures into operations, events, facility management and safety for all persons on site.
* Attainment of Corps Security KPIs and assist with investigation of apparent non-conformance.
* Stay up to date with security trends, technologies and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural improvements.
* Ad-hoc duties as required.
