This company are a global leader in safety equipment, employing over 50 people and trading across the world.
They specialise in evacuation equipment, ensuring that anyone at risk during a fire in a building could be safely removed. They'll sell into multiple industries as any non-residential building must fit this kind of equipment. Multi Store Buildings, Schools, Airports, Offices and Hospitals all use this equipment.
They've a proud record of innovation in the market, demonstrated by the fact they manufacture all their own products as well as supporting the rest of the market as an OEM.
Simply put, the equipment they design, manufacture and sell can save lives.
What would I be doing?
Working as a Graduate Trainee Territory manager, your first few months will be training-heavy as you are brought up to speed on the company, products, clients and sales itself.
Shadowing senior members of the sales team, you'll learn from the best as you start to lead meetings yourself over time. Whilst you will have some office days, the typical day-to-day of the role will be meeting companies in person - split between prospecting new clients and managing existing relationships.
Initially responsible for conducting sight surveys with prospects to allow correct recommendation of products, you'll then move into a position where you can quote and close negotiations yourself.
Your Territory will involve the South West of England, South Wales and some of East London - meaning occasional (fully expensed) overnight stays will be required.
What do I need for the role?
The ideal candidate will be based around Bristol/Bath as this is the centre of the patch. They will have a full clean UK driving license.
Educated to degree level.
This is an entry level role so there is no specific work experience required, but candidates that have fostered relationship building, resilience and competitiveness through hospitality/retail roles, sports and other life experiences could be ideal.
