As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Deliver tailored teaching to pupils with SEN in the classroom and during break/lunchtime activities
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Plan and implement individualized learning programmes in collaboration with support staff and therapists
* Monitor and assess pupils' progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary
* Maintain classroom resources to ensure a safe and organized environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants to support pupils' learning and behaviour
* Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
* Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply
* Demonstrate genuine passion and drive to work with children
* Confident in using own initiative to actively engage and support pupils
* Sociable hours with no weekends - usually 8:30am to 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes)

To comply with safer recruitment guidelines, applicants will undergo:
* Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (can be arranged through Teaching Personnel)
* Two recent employment references covering the last 24 months
* Overseas criminal record check for those who have lived outside the UK for 6 months or more within the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
