Job Description Summary JOB SUMMARY Responsible for leading the planning, implementation and monitoring of corporate-level Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS) and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) programs across all kitting, biorepository and/or equipment & ancillary sites. This is a global leadership role that will define culture, policies and initiatives. How will you make an impact & Requirement MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides leadership and collaborates with management in the implementation of Company EH&S and ESG policies, standards, and training requirements. Evaluates sustainability, safety, occupational health, and environmental areas of business operations. Manages ESG roadmap and our plans to obtain: Ecovadis Sliver ISO 14001 ISO 45001 ISO 50001 ISO 26000 ISO 37001 Leads the standardization of our global safety practices and defines operating boundaries for employees SME for EHSS & ESG related topics and questions, providing technical support to internal and external customers Evaluate and advise management on current regulations and standards, new regulations and/or standards and proposed changes. Provide strategic insight to senior management. Ability to liaise with different departments to ensure all business and process related tasks are compliant with regulatory requirements and staffing needs are met globally Support continuous improvement projects Responsible for coaching and developing subordinates throughout the year Host customer, regulatory and notified body inspections / audits Authoring, reviewing and/or revising BU and Corporate level policies and procedures. In absence of VP, represent Compliance in Senior Leadership, Executive Leadership and/or Board meetings Assist in due diligence activities Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications) Bachelor’s degree highly preferred 10 years of experience leading multi-site programs KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently) Exceptional project management skills. Good interpersonal and people management skills. Ability to work with others and influence positive change. Functional knowledge of applicable ISO standards Ability to interact with all levels of the organization Strong communication skills – verbal and written Ability to prioritize activities, ensure on time completion of required tasks, and manage time effectively. ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Works in an administrative area thermostatically controlled to room temperature with adequate lighting and ventilation. Minimal physical effort is required; however, the job position does require frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or possibly carrying objects weighing up to 30 lbs. TRAVEL Domestic and international up to 25%
