Our Volkswagen Bridgend dealership, part of the long-established Sinclair Group, is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Parts & Accessory Advisor to join our busy Parts Department. Job Title: Parts Advisor
Location: Volkswagen Swansea
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
Hours of work: 40 hours a week working Monday to Friday and Saturday morning on a rota paid as overtime.
Position Pays: £25,584 to £26,500 (depending on experience) plus a monthly bonus.
The Opportunity:
As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our Aftersales operation. You’ll be the link between customers, technicians, and suppliers-ensuring the right parts are sourced, priced, and supplied efficiently.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to build strong relationships with both retail and trade customers. Many of our Parts Advisors progress into Senior Advisor, Controller, or Management roles, and we actively support development across the Group.
You will be responsible for:
1. Supporting customers by identifying their needs and advising on suitable parts and accessories
2. Matching orders to stock, sourcing items, and offering competitive pricing
3. Handling incoming calls, face-to-face enquiries, and digital communications
4. Working towards departmental KPIs and contributing to team success
5. Managing goods in/out, stock control, and accurate paperwork processing
6. Liaising with suppliers for orders, returns, and warranty items
7. Handling payments and maintaining high standards of accuracy
8. Delivering exceptional customer service at every touchpoint
