Job Overview
To be responsible for the collation, collection and inputting of the patient activity data required to monitor and quality assure complex knee service in the trust. Also to carry out all administrative duties related to the complex knee pathway, ensuring appropriate records are maintained. To prospectively track the patient pathway using the Tracking and Escalation procedure.
Main Responsibilities
* Process and check large sets of data, running quality checks to identify any gaps and ensuring missing data is retrieved and entered into the database.
* Facilitate the STAR Care pathway (Support & treatment After Joint Replacement).
* Identify suitable patients through screening, facilitation, delivery & organisation of assessment clinics & management of clinic letters & referrals.
* Work independently across departments and clinics across the two hospital sites.
* Liaise with specialist teams, coders, medical records staff, pathologists, radiologists, within NBT and external organisations.
* Ensure suitability and practicality of new computerized systems.
* Collect and enter the complex knee waiting times and minimum datasets into the database.

* Provide general administrative duties to the Complex Knee Network teams, including photocopying, filing, basic clerical duties, distributing documents efficiently, and collecting notes.
* Prepare regular reports on performance in relation to national guidelines and participate in audits.
* Represent the Trust at local, regional, and national Complex Knee Network meetings.
* Work with information analysts to produce reports and validate data.
* Maintain relationships with clinicians, nurses, and secretarial staff.
* Maintain records of patients involved in STAR and PJI.
* Update information on the Bone and Joint Infection Registry (BAJIR) if appropriate.

Qualifications
* GCSE in English & Maths.
Desirable Criteria
* MS Office (Excel & Teams).
Experience

* RTT/NHS Experience.

* Careflow System.
Applicants will be required to provide evidence of disability support if needed. Successful applicants will normally commence at the minimum band unless they have previous NHS service at the same band. Progression is by annual increments.
