About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Waitrose Technical team as a Regulatory & Policy Coordinator.
The candidate will support the regulatory and policy functions of the team, ensuring compliance across product and trading areas, and assisting with stakeholder management and policy framework maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing regulatory enquiries process
* Administering the regulatory policy framework, including meetings, policy updates, training, and compliance tracking
* Managing referrals from enforcement agencies
* Supporting third-party accreditation audits
* Handling legal challenges, product incidents, and new legislation requirements
* Supporting regulatory and policy needs related to third parties, inter-departmental processes, and business systems
Essential Skills:
* Science, Food Science, or Law Degree
* Experience with systems, Google Suite, and finding system-based solutions to compliance issues
