Tradewind Recruitment are working with an excellent secondary school in Liverpool who are seeking a passionate DT Teacher to join their successful Technology department on a full-time, long-term basis.
The Role:
As a DT Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Teach a range of DT disciplines - such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering (depending on your specialism)
Plan and prepare creative, practical lessons that promote hands-on learning
Maintain high standards of classroom management and health & safety in workshops
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular STEM or design projects
Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ Experience teaching Design and Technology in UK secondary schools
✅ Specialism in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering desirable
✅ Strong understanding of health & safety in workshops
✅ Ability to inspire creativity, innovation, and independent learning
✅ Must have the Right to Work in the UK
✅ Hold a Child-Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply through Tradewind Recruitment
