Overview We are seeking an experienced AC / Refrigeration Engineer (HVAC Engineer) to join a growing, safety:focused and quality:driven engineering organisation.

The Role As an AC / Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
You will gain hands:on experience with:
: Split systems, VRV/VRF systems, FCUs, AHUs
: Commercial refrigeration systems
: HVAC plant and control systems
: Fault finding, diagnostics, and system optimisation

Key Responsibilities Maintenance and Operations
: Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance in line with SFG20 standards and SLAs
: Diagnose, repair, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems
: Take ownership of jobs from initial call:out through to completion
Technical and Compliance
: Carry out fault diagnosis and system troubleshooting using appropriate tools and methods
: Produce accurate service reports and technical documentation
: Maintain F:Gas records, logbooks, and compliance documentation
: Update job progress via CAFM systems or mobile working platforms
: Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety (HSEQ) and industry regulations
Client and Team Engagement
: Build strong relationships with clients and site stakeholders
: Work collaboratively with engineering teams and management
: Deliver a consistently professional and customer:focused service
Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
: Manage materials and spare parts efficiently
: Identify system faults, risks, and improvement opportunities
: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Flexibility
: Support overtime and additional works as required
Skills and Experience Essential
: Minimum 2 years' experience as an AC / Refrigeration Engineer
: NVQ / City and Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
: F:Gas Certification (2079 or equivalent)
: Strong fault:finding and diagnostic skills
: Experience working in commercial HVAC environments
Desirable
: Experience with VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and AHUs
: Familiarity with CAFM / mobile job management systems
: Additional HVAC or electrical qualifications
