Peripatetic Service Manager - North of England Location: Covering the North of England (Base: York) Salary: Up to £54,075 per annum (DOE) Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week About the Role We're working in partnership with a leading charity-driven care provider to recruit an experienced Peripatetic Service Manager to support a portfolio of services across the North of England. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a dynamic leadership role where you'll be instrumental in driving quality, performance, and service development within specialist neurological rehabilitation settings. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on leadership and operational support to Service Managers across various sites. Step in to cover Service Manager roles during periods of absence or transition. Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams, setting high performance standards and driving continuous improvement. Oversee recruitment, training, and development in line with employment law and internal policies. Manage service budgets and ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations. Contribute to strategic development and service reviews, ensuring high standards of care delivery. Engage in project work and change management initiatives that support long-term organisational goals. Travel across the region and occasionally stay overnight as required. Ideal Candidate Profile Registered Nurse with 5 years post-qualification experience (essential). Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards). Proven background in managing Supported Living, Homecare, or similar services, with sound knowledge of housing legislation and regulations. Strong people management skills, with experience leading clinical and operational teams. Demonstrable experience managing budgets and driving service improvements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally.
