At Babington, we believe education transforms lives, and we are committed to Developing Better Futures and for over 50 years, we’ve been creating meaningful learning experiences that help individuals, employers and communities thrive.
Our purpose-led approach, strong values and commitment to quality have earned us a reputation for delivering outstanding apprenticeships and professional training across England and Scotland, and now, we’re looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager to join us at a pivotal moment in our journey.
Position: Marketing Manager
Location: Remote
Salary: £35,000 - 40,000
Ready to own the strategy, shape a brand, and make your mark?
At Babington, we believe bold ideas build better futures. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who’s ready to take the reins — someone who can think big, get hands-on, and turn insight into impact across both B2B and B2C.
This is not a “sit-on-the-sidelines” role. You’ll lead our marketing strategy end to end, drive lead generation, grow brand awareness, and bring campaigns to life across multiple channels — all while working closely with our Marketing Director in a business that values creativity, bravery, and results.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning and delivering Babington’s marketing strategy — short, mid and long-term
* Driving B2B lead generation and supporting key growth areas
* Creating and executing multi-channel campaigns that get noticed and deliver ROI
* Leading on digital marketing: website, SEO, PPC, online chat and analytics
* Growing and energising our social media presence
* Designing and delivering high-quality sales collateral — from web copy to brochures and pitch decks
* Managing suppliers, agencies and partners to ensure brand consistency and quality
* Planning and attending events, exhibitions and conferences
* Managing a defined marketing budget, with clear reporting on performance and return
* Acting as a brand guardian, ensuring clarity, consistency and tone of voice
* Supporting internal communications so our people stay connected and informed
Who we’re looking for
A confident, curious marketer who loves both strategy and execution, who is organised, creative, commercially minded, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Key experience we need:
* Proven experience in a Marketing Manager (or similar) role
* Strong B2B marketing and lead generation experience
* A track record of delivering successful campaigns and analysing performance
* Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
* Hands-on experience with digital tools (website CMS, email platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud, SEO/PPC)
* The ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* A collaborative mindset and the confidence to lead, influence and inspire
* A marketing degree is desirable, and you’ll need access to a car and flexibility to travel when required
