We are looking for a full time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The role will involve project work around deprescribing and cost saving of drugs mainly within the mental health sector and medicines management within community mental health teams.
You will need to be confident presenting to multiple professional groups and have excellent Excel skills.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and project management for the promazine de‑prescribing project across Greater Manchester, working with primary care, ICB, and hospital trusts.
Lead medicines management across Community Mental Health Teams.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, including the Trust Medicines Management Policy.
Review medicines management practices within community teams, making recommendations to improve practice.
Assist in inspection of facilities at CMHTs and advise on drug storage.
Monitor stock lists of drug supplies in accordance with fluctuating demands of clients.
Deputise for the Chief Pharmacy Technician at relevant internal and external meetings with stakeholders.
