Location: Oak Tree Leisure Centre + Water Meadows and Warsop
Job type: Permanent
Working hours: 20 hours per week, across Monday to Sunday (flexible)
Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour + uplift for classes
Responsibilities
* Deliver the Healthy Life Exercise Referral Programme across Oaktree Leisure Centre, Warsop Health Hub and Water Meadows Leisure Complex, including making calls, initial consultations, inductions, programmes, monitoring and delivering classes.
* Extend services into the wider community through targeted outreach programmes and initiatives under the Active Communities programme in conjunction with the Health and Wellbeing Manager.
* Assess and adapt sessions to meet individual participant needs, considering any medical conditions or physical limitations.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Must be qualified to Level 3 in Exercise Referral.
* Passionate about exercise and healthy lifestyle; excellent communication skills; basic IT skills; flexible with working pattern (evenings and weekends may be needed).
* Desirable: further health-related qualification such as Cardiac, neuro, pulmonary, cancer rehab or aqua referral.
