Technical Coordinator
Following a period of rapid growth and with some of the UK's most exciting clients on board, our client is looking for a passionate and organised Technical Coordinator to join our growing team.
What's the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Head of Technical, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, driving product quality, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across their operations.
What Will You Be Doing?
1. Customer Complaints & Non-Conformance - Log, investigate, and trend issues, identifying root causes and driving corrective action.
2. Calibration Scheduling - Manage and maintain technical equipment calibration schedules.
3. Quality Management System (QMS) - Keep documentation controlled, updated, and audit-ready.
4. QA Coverage - Step in for routine QA checks to support production when needed.
5. Consumables Management - Maintain stock levels and order supplies for the technical team.
6. Supplier Assurance - Keep supplier documentation up to date and chase certificates.
7. Deputise for Head of Technical - Provide leadership cover where required.
8. Specification Management - Help keep Daily Dose and customer specs accurate and current.
9. HACCP Participation - Support our food safety systems as an active member of the HACCP team.
10. Operational Support - Work with Operations on investigations, training, and continuous improvement.
What Are We Looking For?
11. Minimum 3 years' QA/Technical experience in FMCG (preferably chilled food/drink)
12. HACCP Level 3
13. Internal Auditor trained
14. Experience with retailer specification systems
