In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings that transform creative concepts into fully realised event environments — from initial vision to on-site build.
You’ll be an integral part of a collaborative design team, working across a wide range of exciting and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate and visually engaging 2D layouts and 3D models for events using AutoCAD and other industry-standard software
* Translate concept sketches, technical briefs, and client requirements into detailed drawings covering structures, stages, rigging, and full site layouts
* Ensure all CAD files are organised, archived, and managed efficiently for easy access and version control
* Conduct site visits when necessary to verify measurements, assess layouts, and ensure practical feasibility
* Keep up to date with industry trends, safety standards, and regulations relating to temporary structures and live events
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and wants to be part of delivering unforgettable live experiences.
The Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience as a CAD Designer, with a strong track record of producing both 2D technical drawings and 3D models. As this is a creative position, you should also have hands-on experience working with event structures and large-scale environments. You’ll need to be confident in translating ambitious concepts into accurate, buildable designs that align with both creative vision and technical requirements.
