Clinical Perfusion Lead (Mechanical Cardiac Support)
You will build on your experience as a senior practitioner, to provide organizational leadership. You will work in close partnership with the Clinical and deputy leads for Perfusion, CAS Theatre Manager, Cardiac intensive care unit, cath lab and other clinical leads to manage mechanical cardiac support programmes and develop and lead on a an ECMO programme. The post holder will divide time between clinical and managerial responsibility as required, ensuring that personal development targets, team objectives and strategic objectives are achieved. As a qualified and experienced Clinical Perfusionist you will also engage with the provision of adult cardiopulmonary bypass as part of a team providing 24/7 provision. This post includes engaging and working with the wider MDT to provide a first point of contact with education and training for MC.
