Project Coordinator (FTC) – 17 Apr 2026 – Belfast, GB – Technical – Andor Technology
About the Role
At Oxford Instruments Andor we are devoted to accelerating scientific advancements. The Project Coordinator will support the Director of Engineering and Project Managers in coordinating ongoing projects, including new portfolios, tactical and technology projects, and process‑improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, facilitating stakeholder meetings and ensuring project deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive project charters, maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
* Organise, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
* Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings.
* Prepare presentation materials for meetings.
* Ensure project deadlines are met.
* Determine project changes and prepare budgets, coordinating budget activities across engineering.
* Provide administrative support as needed.
* Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and maintain documentation appropriately.
* Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions.
* Manage stakeholder views towards the best solution.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree such as computers, technical or business management, or significant relevant experience.
* At least 2 years’ experience in a related field.
* Experience of all stages of project management, including requirement gathering and detailed project planning.
* Demonstrable experience presenting status reports to senior management.
* Passion for customer experience and ease of use.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Strong planning and organising skills.
* Evidence of contribution to developing best practice and process improvement.
Contract & Work Model
This is a fixed‑term contract position for 12 months (possibility of extension), based at our Belfast headquarters, working a hybrid model of at least 3 days onsite per week.
