gap technical are proud to be representing this National manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Electrically Biased Engineer to work at their facility based near Ellesmere Port
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver preventative and predictive maintenance activities
* Diagnose faults, including PLCs and electrical systems
* Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM, Kaizen)
* Contribute to equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning
* Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and performance
Candidate Requirements:
* NVQ Level 4 / HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* 18th Edition (or equivalent)
* Multi-skilled experience with strong fault-finding capability
* PLC diagnostics and ladder logic experience
* Proactive approach with a focus on improvement and reliability
