A strategy-first brand design agency has just appointed its first Global CEO after 32 years of independence – the kind of milestone that signals serious ambition.
Fresh off landing an array of new clients across beauty, wellness and drinks, and planning five senior hires, they’re looking for a Senior Client Manager who can do more than manage projects – someone who can build the relationships that unlock real, organic growth.
The Role
You’ll own a portfolio of 8–15 concurrent projects for global brands spanning FMCG giants and the challenger businesses disrupting them. This is 50% client partnership, 50% internal operations – building trusted stakeholder relationships while driving profitable delivery against strict budgets and timelines.
Your accountability runs deep, and you’ll own weekly revenue forecasting across your entire portfolio, budget reconciliation that catches overspend before it impacts profitability, creating rigorous briefs for internal teams that ensure every deliverable lands on strategy and taking the lead on client status calls that position the agency for deeper partnership.
You’ll mentor junior Client Managers and Coordinators, sitting at the table with Directors on business development. The kind of exposure that changes how the market sees you.
The Package
£40,000 – £52,000
Hybrid working: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday in the office
Line management responsibility with a clear progression pathway
The Person
A seasoned Client Manager or entry-level Senior Client Manager from a branding and packaging background. At least four years of managing multiple concurrent projects in agency environments like competitive design consultancies.
You understand the complexity of managing dependencies across creative, production, and client teams – and you’re ready for P&L responsibility alongside relationship building. You’re someone who sees the value in operational rigour, not just relationship charm. This agency has built 16 consecutive years of effectiveness awards on the foundation that strategy comes first.
