(1) To work with individuals or groups of children covering a broad range of ages from 0 to 19, with various physical disabilities, disorders, learning difficulties, and developmental delays.
(2) Use practical, technical, and creative skills to assist in providing a flexible, child-centred programme of therapeutic activities that enable children and young people to participate in daily living activities, play, and access the school curriculum.
(3) Take responsibility for specific tasks as instructed by the Occupational Therapists, particularly in the area of 24-hour postural management, including seating, sleep systems, and other positioning equipment.
(4) Support the preparation, administration, planning, and implementation of specially designed rehabilitation programmes for both groups and individuals.
(5) Contribute to the overall assessment of patients under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
(6) Work in various settings including clinics, special schools, mainstream schools, nurseries, short breaks settings, Woodlands Ward, and the child's home.
(7) Be responsible for training others, including delivering training.
