QA Admin Assistant (Clinical Governance)
Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership is a large general practice in Wiltshire. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This is a non‑clinical administrative role, working up to full‑time (37.5 hours a week) with flexibility on working days between Monday and Friday.
This role plays a foundational role in the QA Team, by ensuring that all incoming and internal patient correspondence is entered on the patients medical record in a timely manner and forwarded to the correct recipient, according to practice protocols. More broadly, this role provides administrative support to the QA team, supporting their work to optimise the health of our patients with chronic and life‑long conditions as well as contributing to the health of our wider population.

Main Duties of the Job
As a QA administrator you will follow quality assurance processes which are designed to ensure that standards of care are maintained and improved, to minimise errors and provide patient safety and quality of care. Your main roles will be to:
* Process all incoming patient related correspondence; whether it be paper or electronic format
* Scan/attach patient related documents onto their medical record
* Add additional information about the source of the document
* Forward the document to the relevant team/clinician according to practice protocols
* Coding documents as part of workflow process, following practice protocols including 111 reports
* Enter data into patient records resulting from bulk collection exercises, e.g. questionnaires, blood pressure readings, breast screening
* Store and/or dispose of documentation according to Practice protocols
Provide administrative support to other members of the QA team, which may include, but not limited to:
* Printing and sending invitation letters
* Being first point of contact for dashboard and NHS mail for QA team
In liaison with your team leader, any other tasks which might reasonably be asked of you.

Person Specification
Experience
* Practical experience of computerised recording systems
* Work in a medical / clinical field, with necessary clinical training
* Experience of complex administration and record keeping in a primary care setting
* Experience of working within General Practice
* Experience of using own initiative
Qualifications
* Good standard of general education
* GCSE Mathematics C or above (or equivalent)
* GCSE English C or above (or equivalent)
