About the role
To be the welcoming face of Ceredigion Museum, manage the shop, front of house volunteers. Promote the museum and its activities. Ensure the safety of the museum, its visitors and staff.
About the candidate
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
2. Good eye for detail and creativity
3. IT proficient
4. To have the ability to organise own work, prioritise tasks and work methodically, responding to busy/quiet periods appropriately
5. To have an understanding and commitment to the principles of Customer Care and Equal Opportunities insofar as they relate to Service users and colleagues
Due to the requirements of the role, the successful candidate must have a level of Welsh fluency on appointment. Please see the person specification for the further details.

Additional Information
This role includes weekend working as part of a normal working week or rota. The successful candidate will be entitled to the following pay:
6. Saturday – Time and a quarter
7. Sunday – Time and a half
This role may require bank holiday working. The successful candidate may receive a choice of double time or single time and a day off in lieu.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking a secondment. It is recommended that line manager/employer permission is sought before applying to ensure you may return to your substantive post once the secondment has ceased.
