Do you thrive on helping people? Love being at the heart of a busy, supportive environment? We’re looking for someone warm, proactive and people-focused to join us as our Customer Service Officer, the first friendly face visitors meet at Cornerstone.
At Stockport Homes Group, every interaction matters. Whether someone needs advice about housing, support with homelessness, help with rent arrears, or simply directions to an appointment, you’ll make sure every person feels valued, listened to and supported.
What you’ll do
1. Offer a professional, welcoming and reassuring service to everyone walking through our doors
2. Handle a wide range of enquiries with care, empathy and confidence
3. Keep the reception running smoothly, managing visitor flow with a calm and positive approach
4. Build great working relationships with colleagues and partner organisations
5. Keep our reception area looking inviting and customer-ready
6. Listen deeply, understand needs and find practical solutions
7. Use our IT systems to record information accurately and securely
8. Bring energy, resilience and flexibility to a fast-paced, rewarding environment
