Join us as a Senior UX Researcher at Barclays Business Banking, where you’ll play a key role in understanding our customers' needs, behaviors, and pain points to inform product and design decisions.
You will lead the creation and execution of customer research projects using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, supporting and mentoring others. This role is part of the Barclays Insight and Experience Design (BiXD), a multidisciplinary team including UX Researchers, Designers, Copywriters, and Design Ops.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting end-to-end research projects, from briefing to stakeholder presentation.
2. Building strong collaborations with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering research advocates.
3. Executing various research methodologies and continuously learning new techniques.

This role is based at Northampton with an additional location in Manchester. The purpose is to analyze customer needs and experiences, ensuring the customer voice influences our services for 20 million UK customers.
Accountabilities include delivering research programs, collaborating across departments, developing prototypes, monitoring industry trends, analyzing data, managing risks (including data privacy), and overseeing research teams.
For the Assistant Vice President level, responsibilities extend to influencing decision-making, leading teams or projects, managing risks, and engaging in complex data analysis. All colleagues are expected to embody Barclays' values and mindset.
