A leading organisation in the Bristol area requires an IT Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager to join its growing delivery function.
Suitable candidates will be comfortable operating within senior management forums and board meetings and have strong experience of working across a variety of projects (including networking, infrastructure, cyber security etc).
Qualifications / Experience
* Circa 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
* Track record of managing large, complex IT projects and programmes from start to finish.
* Experience leading multiple project teams, mentoring, and driving strategic initiatives.
* Proven ability to work with diverse teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
* Experience of all stages of testing. E.g. system, system integration, security, usability/ accessibility, performance and user acceptance testing
* Knowledge and experience of different project and development methodologies, such as PRINCE 2 and Agile
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship management skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in both verbal and written communications
* Ability to plan and manage resources to meet agreed deadlines
* Excellent leadership & communication verbal/written skills, ability to motivate teams, influencing stakeholders.
* Experience of Cyber Essentials Plus and/or ISO27001 accreditation projects
* Management of Programme teams in a Defence oriented matrix organisation
* ITIL qualification and/or experience
