Overview
Associate Director - Design, in-house design + identity team at Freuds Group. Supports the Executive Art Director to ensure the quality of creative work and helps communicate the offering to existing and new clients to expand the business. Leads and nurtures team skillsets to deliver the best product, while contributing to client servicing and project management and guiding the design-led process.
Responsibilities
* Support the Executive Art Director to maintain high standards of creative output.
* Communicate Freuds offering to existing and new clients to help expand the business.
* Identify and nurture team skillsets to achieve the best product.
* Promote and shape the design and content offering to build external client base.
* Maintain strong client servicing and project management across projects.
* Lead workshops and present ideas to clients and stakeholders.
* Manage projects including proposal writing, pitches, and internal initiatives that improve design output.
Knowledge, skills and attributes
* Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and the ability to set expectations with clients and explain design decisions clearly to non-designers.
* Strong knowledge of design processes, design management and project management.
* Exceptional proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Ideally knowledge/understanding of Figma and experience with WordPress and other Content Management Systems.
