Fabricator / Welder - Permanent Opportunity
Location: Aberdeenshire
Hours: 39 hours/week + regular overtime (1.5x)
Are you an experienced Fabricator/Welder seeking a rewarding long-term role within a professional and supportive engineering environment? We are looking for a highly skilled, time-served Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established engineering firm based in Aberdeenshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including green energy initiatives, delivering high-quality fabrication and welding work.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard across a range of materials, including aluminium and stainless steel.
Read, interpret, and work accurately from detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.
Operate general fabrication tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed to a consistently high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements.
Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in an engineering or fabrication environment.
Strong technical skills in MIG and TIG welding.
Competence in reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings.
Experience working with a variety of materials, including aluminium and stainless steel.
Knowledge of workshop machinery and fabrication tools.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
