About the Nursery: The nursery is a long-standing and esteemed nursery, committed to crafting a secure, enjoyable, and stimulating setting for children to thrive. Catering to children aged 6 months to 5 years, it takes pride in offering exceptional care and early education to set every child on the path to success.
Your Role: As an Early Years Educator, you'll play a pivotal role within a passionate team. Collaborating closely with experienced staff, you'll create a nurturing and enriching environment for children. Your duties will encompass leading age-appropriate activities, aiding during mealtimes, tending to children's personal needs, and fostering a positive, inclusive ambiance for all.
Key Duties:
* Design and deliver captivating activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Observe and track children's progress, documenting their accomplishments and developmental milestones.
* Cultivate strong relationships with children and parents, ensuring effective communication channels.
* Always maintain a safe and hygienic space for children.
* Attend to children's emotional well-being, offering comfort and support as required.
* Collaborate with the team to cultivate a dynamic and stimulating learning environment.
* Qualifications and Background:
* Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent certification.
* Prior experience in a nursery or childcare environment is advantageous.
* Proficiency in the EYFS curriculum and its implementation in a nursery context.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and contributing to their growth.
Working Hours: This is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 am to 5 pm. We prioritise a harmonious work-life balance and provide a supportive work environment.
