Interim Bed Reconfiguration Project Manager (Operations) – Healthcare Organisation, Southwest England – Start ASAP – circa 3-6 Months – circa NHS Band 8a / 8b
We are seeking an experienced full-time Interim Project Manager to lead a bed and ward reconfiguration programme within an acute hospital setting. This is a key operational role focused on optimising bed usage and making better use of the estate to improve patient flow and efficiency (onsite 2-3 days per week).
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a structured bed reconfiguration plan across wards within the hospital.
* Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth implementation.
* Analyse current bed utilisation and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Coordinate with clinical and estates teams to align changes with patient care priorities.
Essential Experience
* Proven track record in bed and ward reconfiguration within an acute hospital environment.
* Strong operational management skills and ability to lead change effectively.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
