About the Role
We will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to enable you to safely and effectively work as a Team Leader to…
1. Lead and motivate a small team through a practical and hands on approach
2. Set priorities to maximise production efficiency and promote working practices that develops a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and open communication
3. Identify and suggest improvements to the manufacturing and quality process to ensure agreed cost efficient production schedules
4. Assist with the installation of new plant equipment
5. Promote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve efficiencies
6. Carry out factory inspections, giving advice and support to production operatives and other personnel
7. Monitoring quality from raw material to finished goods
8. Ensure all new starters are efficiently inducted and trained
Hours of Work: till, Monday - Friday (flexibility is required)
About You
9. Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a safety-first culture is essential
10. At least a year’s leadership experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role or similar
11. Experience of working in a high production environment, primarily in the automotive, food or FMCG related industries
12. Good exposure to health & safety standards, continuous improvement methods and environmental best practice
13. IT skills – working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
14. Strong organisational & planning abilities
