Role: Data Scientist
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Location: Manchester City Centre - Hybrid
We are partnered with a leading organisation in renewable energy who are seeking a Data Scientist. You will play your part in Britain's long term strategy to achieve net zero.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and trends.
* Develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize business processes and enhance performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
* Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate model performance.
* Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations.
Key Skills:
* Proficiency in mathematics and statistics.
* Expertise in coding languages such as Python, R, for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling.
* Experience with machine learning techniques and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) to build and deploy predictive models.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, ggplot2, Tableau) to create informative and engaging visualizations.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively to tackle complex challenges.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
