We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, food safety, and serving. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Support the catering team in delivering high-quality service for events and functions.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.
* Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
* Provide excellent service by assisting with food presentation and serving when required.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles in catering or restaurants.
* Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential.
* Culinary experience that demonstrates a passion for cooking and an understanding of various cuisines is highly valued.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
