Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners. The ideal candidates will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Part time and full time applicants considered.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional care and supervision for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys.
* Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care, hygiene, and safety within the nursery environment.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
* Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play activities.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A L3 Childcare qualification
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
* A genuine passion for childcare with the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children.

Pay: £12.75-£13.75 per hour
