We are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to support the IT and Operations team across TrustFord. Working closely with the IT Senior management, you will ensure our standards and policies are met, and sometimes exceeded. You should be proactive, forward-looking, and demonstrate positive stakeholder and customer engagement.
This role is responsible for providing technical support, Windows Systems operating systems implementation, security policy adherence, and system availability. As part of the Infrastructure & Operations Team, you will ensure all Infrastructure and Processing Services responsibilities are met for UK BU supported Servers. The role requires in-depth practical knowledge of a wide range of Infrastructure & Back Office products, offering advice and guidance to customers and liaising with third parties on support issues when appropriate.
Minimum requirements:
* At least 5 years experience in a support desk role at a 3rd line capacity in technical support and infrastructure.
* Qualification and strong experience in Microsoft technology stack, including configuring and managing O365.
* Expertise in Microsoft Cloud Services and building/configuring virtual servers using Azure.
Key duties and qualities include:
* Completing routine tasks with limited supervision.
* Coaching and mentoring colleagues to improve customer care standards.
* Attending sites, town halls, and meetings with General Managers to build rapport and gather feedback.
* Updating incidents regularly and accurately, escalating when necessary.
* Performing systems administration activities such as performance tuning and data management.
* Monitoring and reviewing service quality.
* Interfacing directly with service delivery teams on site.
* Maintaining the technical knowledgebase and documentation.
* Supporting project rollouts at client sites.
* Applying customer service skills to difficult users.
* Participating in on-call support within a pressurized environment.
* Implementing scheduled patching, firmware, and software upgrades.

This is a hybrid role, working on-site and from home. The first 3 months are full-time in the office during probation, then transitioning to hybrid working from month 4.
