CRA Consulting are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, long-established law firm based in Halifax as they look to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their successful Wills & Probate team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and personable practice with a strong local reputation and a genuinely collaborative culture.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will handle a varied and high-quality caseload of private client matters. You will be responsible for providing expert advice across the full spectrum of Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts. The firm offers a friendly working environment where client care and professional development are genuinely valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a mixed caseload of Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, LPAs and Trusts
* Taking comprehensive client instructions and delivering clear, tailored legal advice
* Drafting Wills, Trusts and associated documents
* Handling estate administration matters from instruction to completion
* Building strong relationships with clients, referrers and colleagues
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards
About you:
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive ideally with a minimum of 3 years PQE or greater
* Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate and Estate Planning
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Ability to manage files autonomously while being a team player
* STEP qualification or working towards it is advantageous but not essential
