The Role
As a Trainee Manager, you will undertake a 12-month development program focusing on operational, service, and leadership skills, preparing you for future Store Manager roles. You will follow a structured training pathway supported by your Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the store in delivering outstanding customer service and shopping experiences.
* Drive sales and optimize KPI performance.
* Offer VIP concierge services, including product updates and tastings.
* Promote products through tastings and share your passion and knowledge.
* Maintain store appearance and operational standards.
* Participate in all operational tasks, including stock deliveries and customer outreach.
* Identify operational improvements and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
* Engage in personal development and support junior team members.
Knowledge & Skills Required
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Passion for wine and willingness to learn, aiming for WSET Level 2 & 3.
* Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
