The Vacancy
Job Purpose:
This is a key position, responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations.
You will be the first point of contact for maintenance issues at your allocated sites. You may need to request specialist attendance following the initial call-out. The role also involves reactive and planned maintenance of food services and catering equipment, with training provided. Specialist attendance may be required after initial call-out.
The main goal is to perform technical repairs and PPMs, ensuring all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up-to-date. Work should be completed to high standards efficiently and cost-effectively, in compliance with all Health and Safety legislation.
Key Accountabilities:

* Prioritize maintenance and repairs to meet timescales and response times
* Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules accurately and on time
* Respond promptly to service requests and assess requirements
* Identify non-repairable faults and advise management with recommendations
* Inform site managers of issues affecting site operations
* Carry out surveys and reports as required
* Work with staff to maintain quality standards
* Perform minor alterations and installations within technical competence
* Complete repairs on food service assets, following policies
* Maintain compliance documentation
* Represent the company professionally and develop good relationships
* Update the Mercury system with live job data
Process
* Adhere to Health and Safety policies
* Complete mandatory training and modules
* Conduct emergency lighting tests and log repairs
* Ensure compliance documentation is current
* Communicate effectively with team and management
* Follow purchase order procedures and ensure costs are approved
Other
* Undertake additional duties as required
* Participate in a 1 in 4 standby on-call rota
* Log material spending and handle purchasing responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Minimum GCSE/Standard Grade education; NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical maintenance
* City and Guilds 2382 18th edition
* Knowledge of three-phase electrics and applications
* Ability to maintain and repair electrical and food service equipment
* High-quality repair work, efficiency, and response times
* Maintain health and safety standards
* Strong communication skills and a full driving license
