Location: Surrey (Woking: GU21 5SA). Free on‑site parking available.
Hours: Full time (part‑time considered). Working hours: 37.5 hours/week.

Overview
The Wheelchair Service supports people in Surrey and North‑East Hampshire who require mobility equipment to achieve and maintain their lifestyle choices. You will provide care for service users of all ages, focusing on manual and powered wheelchairs and posture/pressure management. Full equipment training is provided.
Responsibilities
* Assess mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs and prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs with associated accessories.
* Supervise junior staff and provide clinical guidance to non‑clinical colleagues.
* Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to deliver high‑quality contractual service performance.
* Liaise with service users, local voluntary and statutory services to facilitate joint working and improve outcomes.
* Support internal and external training programmes, including apprenticeships and student placements, and contribute to internal training resources.
* Conduct and document necessary risk assessments and manage related risk factors such as equipment provision, safeguarding, infection control, moving and handling.
Qualifications
* Highly motivated, excellent organisational and communication skills with a customer‑focused service mindset.
* Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
* Experience with patients with long‑term or deteriorating medical conditions is advantageous.
* Comfortable using digital systems and software for record‑keeping and service performance analysis.
* Registered with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Clinical Scientist, or registered as a Nurse with the NMC.
* Full current UK driving licence with manual transmission and willingness to drive Ross Care vehicles as necessary.
* Subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
