Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a Bradford primary school? Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties?
We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Bradford that is seeking a dedicated SEN-trained Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
3. Support children with emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.
4. Help create a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
5. Track pupil progress andmunicate effectively with staff and parents.
Essential Requirements:
6. Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
7. SEN training or relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
8. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
9. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
10. Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
